1887

Friedrich Wilhelm Goetze establishes the company's first plant in Burscheid, Germany, initially focusing on producing sealing solutions for industrial machinery and equipment.

1964

Under the direction of Fritz Goetze, Goetze expands its product line to include mechanical face seals, which become widely used in construction, mining, defense and agricultural machinery.

1993

In 1990, the production of GOETZE face seals moved from Burscheid to Friedberg in Bavaria, to expand production capabilities and deepen expertise in mechanical face seals.

2015

By 2015, GOETZE completed a face seal business growth milestone by expanding its facilities and production capacity to support the increasing demand and market growth.

2017

In 2017, the Friedberg manufacturing facility was designated as the industry lead plant for Large Bore Engine and Mechanical Face Seals, further solidifying GOETZE's leading position and expertise in the industry.

2024

In 2020, GOETZE launched Phase 2 of 4 of its Face Seal Business Growth project, focusing mainly on large seals to further enhance innovation and market leadership.
